Hello, dear reader!
My name's Marc (yes with a c) a.k.a. xsolimini. I'm a 23 year old half-french/half-filipino coming from the beautiful region of Alsace, France!
I understand 3 languages, French of course is my mother tongue, but I am very fluent in english (though my accent is not that good ngl). I can also speak some german, but I've forgotten a lot over the years.
I studied IT/Computer science stuff in high school and uni.
My main hobbies are making electronic music and sometimes 3d models from the confines of my basement.
What kind of music do I produce, You may ask. Well, I mainly produce (mediocre) drum and bass and breakcore-ish stuff but that doesn't mean i don't try other genres, most of the time I scrap/shelf my projects because i'm never happy lmao (I have a page dedicated to some of those, check them out in More>Scrapped).
The daw I use is FL Studio (and yes i fucking bought it, one of my best purchases ever).
As for 3d modelling, I use Blender and I mainly make military stuff such as jets tanks etc... tho for now i only have this almost finished Mirage 2000C model I can show you. (check out the "3d stuff" page).
I enjoy video games a lot, like at this point I cannot count how many games I've played so far. But, my favorite games include the air combat sim DCS:World, the stockholm syndrome inducing War Thunder. My favorite franchises are Half-Life, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Undertale/Deltarune.
Maybe you've already guessed it with the ongoing theme on this website but I like military stuff, mainly fighter jets and tanks too. (Even though I like these things, that doesn't mean I am pro-war!!)
I also enjoy history+geography and old architecture. And I mean actual good history, not the kind of biased shit racist 13 year olds look up to. No, timmy, the treaty of versailles actually was too lenient. No, timmy, just because you play HOI4 doesn't make you knowledgeable in history. I absolutely fucking hate those tiktok ""history"" edits in particular. You know... The ones blasting 'Sonne' by Rammstein on Wehrmacht edits when they don't even know what Rammstein is about.
I mostly listen to rock/metal and electronic music, but I am open to other genres.
Nostalgia fuels me and I sometimes think too much of the past. There are times where I wish I was born in the late '80s/early '90s so I could fully experience the early 2000s (I wish I was at Rock am Ring 2004, listening to Linkin Park).

ABOUT THIS WEBSITE
Ever since I was a boy, the internet has played a big part of my life. (Il est tombe dedans quand il etait petit)
One of my earliest memories of the internet was me browsing on YouTube around 2008-2009 (the internet started really booming around that time over here in France) on the family computer and watching the early YTPs.
My 7 year old self did not understand what was happening, but it still was so funny, Mario YTPs especially were my favorite.
Around that time MySpace started dying (tho i did not know it existed at the time as I was way too young lol).
And this concept of having your own personal space on the internet is something that I find very cool. And so... Fast forward to September 2024, when I discovered Neocities (also the period where I started sharing my projects with the world).
Browsing all these amazing websites over there inspired me to make my own.
I made a simple page back then, but I had no motivation to further expand it. Until the end of april 2025, when I totally revamped my website.
I had a different vision for this website back in 2024, but i am pretty satisfied with what I have done now. Interface/design/layout/theme wise, I tried to mix modern and classical stuff (such as y2k) along with things that I have seen on Neocities and things that I am passionate about (i.e. fighter jets). In short, a big mashup of everything.
Almost everything you see here (apart from most 88x31 buttons, gifs and other small stuff) was made by myself!
So yeah, there you go, xsolimini's HQ.
